CSFI in New York

The CSFI is an international think-tank. Of late we have looked at issues ranging from the Russian software industry to electronic currencies, from tax harmonisation to privatising a development bank. Ever since we were founded, American individuals and institutions have been among our chief supporters.

In 2000, we committed to open up in New York, and in 2002 we formed a 501(c) 3 corporation. This will permit us to expand the market for our ideas, and also to solicit contributions from a broader range of US sources. We plan to publish reports in the US and hold round-tables in New York on topics of interest to our American supporters. Given its central position as a centre for capital, what goes on there has a major impact on financial innovation. We hope to use the CSFI office, and our tax-exempt status, to carry on our work in America as well as in Europe.
