INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

The CSFI individual membership programme, launched in February 2009, has provided the Centre with a vital source of funding through what has by all standards been a difficult time in the financial services sector. An annual contribution of £250 each on the part of more than 40 generous individuals has facilitated a constantly improving work and publications programme during the year. Benefits of individual membership include involvement in the Centre’s work programme, the opportunity to suggest speakers for events, as well as priority access to all CSFI publications, including subscription to Financial World magazine.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP

Corporate sponsors, whose funding amounts to anywhere between £250 and £8,000 (entirely at the sponsors’ discretion), enjoy the added benefit of being able to tailor the Centre’s work programme. This input can take various forms: co-hosted dinners, specific roundtable events or research papers being published by the Centre. In each of these cases the Centre would devote its resources to the specific areas of interest of the sponsor in whatever manner was required; relying, especially, on its numerous high level contacts throughout the City, and their availability to speak at CSFI events.

FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

The CSFI has extended its scope through the launch of a Fellowship Programme in September 2008. Starting with insurance, sponsored by Generali, the Centre has paired with big players in the financial sector to run round-tables and dinner discussions on cutting-edge issues, culminating in a report written by the Fellow, who is the programme’s intellectual leader. Other fellowships are in Payments, sponsored by Visa, and Development, sponsored by Citigroup and the UK ’s Department for International Development.
